Temporary Closure

Due to the spread of Covid-19, we have had to make the difficult decision to enforce a temporary closure. All future shows and bookings will be postponed until such time as we are able to reschedule them. Whilst this is hugely disappointing, the health and safety of our school community and the general public is of the utmost importance. Therefore, for the time being, the planetarium will be closed.

If you have booked a ticket for one of our public shows, we will hold your payment and make a place available for you on the rescheduled date. This includes any show taking place after 13th March. We will contact organisers of private bookings and those on the Spacewalkers holiday course individually with more information.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch using our Contact Us page if you have any questions or concerns. We are always happy to hear from you, although it may take us a little longer to get back to you than normal. For up-to-date information regarding how you can protect yourself and others, see the UK government advice or visit the NHS website.

We will continue to update our Sky Notes page, so keep checking back to find out what you can see in the sky each month. There is still plenty of astronomical phenomena to be seen in our streets and gardens! We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation during this temporary closure. We are not taking this decision lightly, and hope you will join us for more space exploration in the future!
