Satellite Launches

  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 2nd USSF 12 : The experimental missile warning satellite for the U.S Space Force, Wide Field of View (WFOV), launches on the USSF 12 mission aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket alongside rideshare payloads. It will launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida at 00:15 BST. Delayed from April and June 9th. Scrubbed on June 30th.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 2nd STP-28A : The third operational launch of a Virgin Orbit LauncherOne rocket drops from a modified Boeing 747 carrier jet named Cosmic Girl and will carry 7 small satellites for government agencies. The mission is called Straight Up and will launch from Mojave Air and Space Port, California at 07:53 BST. Delayed from June 30th.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 7th Glonass K : From the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Russia, a Russian government Soyuz rocket launches the Glonass K satellite at 10:18 BST.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 7th Starlink 4-21 : From Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida at 14:11 BST, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches with 53 Starlink satellites. Moved forward from July. Delayed from June.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 11th Starlink 3-1 : Another batch of 46 Starlink internet satellites launches aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from the Vandenburg Space Force Base, California at 02:39 BST. Delayed from July 8th.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 12th Tianlian 2-03 : The Tianlian 2-03 satellite will be launched by a Chinese Long March 3B rocket from Xichang, China at 17:30 BST.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 13th NROL-162 : Rocket Lab use an Electron rocket to launch a classified payload for the National Reconnaissance Office from Mahia Peninsula, New Zealand at 07:30 BST.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 15th Siwei Gaojing 2-01 & 2-02 : Aboard a Chinese Long March 2C rocket, the Siwei Gaojing 2-01 and 2-02 Earth observation satellites launch from Jiuquan, China at 23:57 BST.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 17th Starlink 4-22 : 53 Starlink satellites are launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida at 15:20 BST.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 22nd Starlink 3-2 : SpaceX launch 46 Starlink satellites with a Falcon 9 rocket from the Vandenburg Space Force Base, California at 18:39 BST. Scrubbed on July 21st.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 24th Starlink 4-25 : From the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches 52 Starlink satellites at 14:38 BST.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 27th Reusable Test Spacecraft : 6 small satellites launch on a Chinese Lijian 1 rocket’s first test flight. It will launch from Jiuquan, China at 05:12 BST.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 29th Yaogan 35 : 3 Yaogan 35 military satellites are launched by a Chinese Long March 2D rocket from Xichang, China at 14:28 BST.

Launches to Space Stations

  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 11th SpaceX CRS 25 : The 5th cargo resupply mission of a Dragon 2 spacecraft to the International Space Station will take place, launching from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida at 01:44 BST. It will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and is the 25th SpaceX led mission under their Commercial Resupply Services contract with NASA. Delayed from June 9th, 10th, 12th and 28th and July 11th.
  • LAUNCH SUCCESS 24th Wentian : The Wentian laboratory module is launched aboard a Chinese Long March rocket from Wenchang, China at 07:22 BST. This is the 2nd major element of China’s space station.
