Satellite Launches
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 4th Starlink V1.0-L17 : Approximately 60 satellites are launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket as part of their Starlink broadband network. Known as Starlink V1.0-L17, the 20th Starlink mission will launch from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida at 01:37 GMT. Delayed from January 29th, 30th, 31st and February 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 17th. Scrubbed on February 28th. Delayed from March 2nd.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 11th Starlink V1.0-L20 : Starlink V1.0-L20 launches approximately 60 satellites as the 21st batch of SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network. It will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida at 08:13 GMT. Delayed from March 8th.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 11th Shiyan 9 : China launch the Shiyan 9 satellite aboard a Long March 7A rocket. It will launch from Wenchang, China at 17:51 GMT.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 13th Yaogen 31 : 3 Yaogen 31 military reconnaissance satellites are launched by China. They will launch aboard a Long March 4C rocket from Jiuquan, China at 02:19 GMT.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 14th Starlink V1.0-L21 : SpaceX launch Starlink V1.0-L21, the 22nd batch of approximately 60 satellites for the Starlink broadband network. It will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida at 09:44 GMT.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 22nd CAS500 1 : A rideshare mission launches the CAS500 1 Earth observation satellite for the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, Astroscale‘s debris removal demonstration mission and 4 Earth-imaging microsatellites built by Axelspace. It will launch aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan at 06:07 GMT. Scrubbed on March 20th.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 22nd They Go Up So Fast : Seven small payloads are launched aboard a Rocket Lab Electron rocket. Nicknamed “They Go Up So Fast”, the mission includes a BlackSky optical Earth observation satellite, the M2 CubeSat mission for the University of New South Wales and the Royal Australian Air Force, a Gunsmoke-J tech demo satellite for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defence Command, the Centauri 3 and Myriota 7 data relay satellites for Fleet Space and Myriota, the Veery Hatchling CubeSat for Care Weather Technologies and the Photon Pathstone mission for Rocket Lab. They launch from the Mahia Peninsula, New Zealand at 22:30 GMT.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 24th Starlink V1.0-L22 : SpaceX launch Starlink V1.0-L22, the 23rd group of about 60 satellites for their broadband network. It will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida at 08:28 GMT. Delayed from March 21st and 22nd.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 25th OneWeb 5 : 36 OneWeb satellites are launched aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket as part of their broadband communications constellation. The rocket will launch from the Vostochny Cosmodrome, Russia at 02:47 GMT. Delayed from February 25th.
- LAUNCH SUCCESS 30th Gaofen 12-02 : China launch the Gaofen 12-02 Earth observation satellite aboard a Chinese Long March 4C rocket from Jiuquan, China at 23:45 BST.
