Launches to the ISS

  • 2nd: The 15th Cygnus cargo freighter will launch on mission NG-14, the International Space Station’s 14th operational cargo delivery flight. It will launch aboard a Northrop Grumman Antares rocket from Wallops Island, Virginia. Delayed from August 31st and September 7th.
  • 14th: A Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft will carry the Expedition 64 crew to the International Space Station, consisting of NASA astronaut Kate Rubins and Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov. It will launch aboard a Russian government Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, and remain at the ISS for six months as an escape pod.
  • 30th: A Dragon 2 spacecraft makes its first cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. It will launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

Satellite Launches

  • Undated: An Arianespace Soyuz rocket will launch the second Composante Spatiale Optique military reconnaissance satellite into polar orbit for CNES and DGA. Delayed from April 10th.
